Hihi pepx out there..esp to those 1724's sfers...by God's grace, a brand new 1724 is finally up..and we'd come up with programs that will alllow us to learn God's words and bond betta with our fellow bros and sistas..and your participation is very important for the new 1724 =) really!!

for the first 1724 of 2006, we'll be learning how to read the bible for all its worth..conducted by Rev Yang..this will greatly help us when as we continue to read God's words in the days and years to come..

o, and we'd got feedbacks that due to the poor timing of 1724 last year..it resulted in the poor attendance...so, yea, we changed...specially for the 1724 pepx..so that it'll be more convenient for you all..its no longer from 2-4pm..its now 4-6pm =)

dear 1724 pepx...pls do come down..cos each and everyone of u all makes up the whole of 1724..u all are very very very important to this fellowship that were setup for u all =)

yea..so we shall head down to church this coming sat at 4-6pm to learn to read the bible for all its worth !!

Bible In One Year: Genesis 10-12; Matthew 4

Adoniram Judson (1788-1850) was gifted with a brilliant mind. He learned to read at age 3, could translate Greek at 12, and enrolled in Brown University when he was 16. While there he was befriended by Jacob Eames, a man who rejected the miracles of the Bible. When Judson graduated as valedictorian in 1807, he had been so influenced by Eames that he denied his Christian faith.

One night, when Judson was staying at a village inn, he was disturbed by a man moaning in the next room. The following morning he asked the innkeeper about the ailing man. He was told that the man had died and that his name was Jacob Eames.

The startling coincidence of being near his friend at the point of his death stunned Judson. He felt compelled to search his own soul and to seek God's pardon for denying his faith. From that point on, he began to live for the Lord. God led him to pioneer missionary work in Burma. At the end of his life, Adoniram could look back on his ministry that had planted dozens of churches and influenced thousands to become believers.
